About

I design products where clarity matters. Systems that support decisions, earn trust, and hold up under pressure. Much of my work has been in complex, high-stakes environments, where good design is less about novelty and more about helping people think clearly and act with confidence.

Over time, I’ve learned that complexity is rarely the real problem. The real issue is how that complexity is presented, structured, and reasoned about. My role is often to bring shape to ambiguity, reduce cognitive load, and make products easier to understand, use, and trust.

How I work

I work closely with product and engineering, from early discovery through to delivery. I’m comfortable operating in uncertainty, asking the uncomfortable questions early, and helping teams focus on what actually matters. I tend to think at a system level, looking beyond individual screens to how decisions are supported across an experience.

I care about momentum, but not at the expense of judgement. I’m not interested in design theatre or unnecessary process. I value simple frameworks, clear language, and practical outcomes. The work needs to ship, scale, and still make sense six months later.

Where I add the most value

I’m at my best with complex products, especially when users are making important decisions under time pressure or regulatory constraints. This includes data-heavy SaaS platforms, fintech and health products, and tools used by professionals every day.

I’m often brought in when things feel hard to reason about, when products have grown quickly, or when teams need to reset how they think about clarity, consistency, and trust.

A bit more context

I’ve been designing digital products for a long time, long enough to have seen patterns repeat and priorities change. Experience has taught me to be measured, to listen carefully, and to focus on work that lasts.

I still enjoy the craft. I care about quality. And I’m most interested in roles and teams that value calm thinking, honest collaboration, and well-made products.
